Emergency response teams from the California Highway Patrol promptly arrived to manage the situation. Among the vehicles involved was a black SUV that sustained noticeable front-end damage. One vehicle was blocking the high-occupancy vehicle lane, contributing to congestion during the evening commute.
Tow trucks were dispatched to assist with the removal of the damaged vehicles, and a significant alert was issued for the transitional roadway, indicating that traffic would be impacted for an extended period.
