A semi-truck accident occurred today on State Route 46 at Geneseo Road in Paso Robles, CA, with no injuries reported. The incident took place early in the morning when the semi-truck veered off the roadway and ended up in a ditch, approximately 30 feet from the road.
Emergency services responded promptly at around 3:46 AM, where they discovered the truck tractor and semi-trailer combination had gone through a fence. Due to the size of the vehicle, a super heavy tow was requested to assist in removing the truck from the ditch.
It was confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the incident, both of which required towing. The towing service arrived to manage the recovery of the vehicles, and traffic on State Route 46 was impacted during the response, leading to lane closures.
By 7:57 AM, the California Highway Patrol updated the incident status to confirm that there were no injuries reported. The situation was resolved without significant consequences to those involved, and the roadway was cleared for normal traffic flow shortly thereafter.
