Initially, all vehicles were located in the carpool lane, with the motorcycle rider leaning against the carpool lane wall. Although the rider initially declined medical assistance, the situation changed, and an ambulance was requested shortly after. By 5:47 PM, two patients were transported to Palomar Hospital for evaluation of unknown injuries.
Tow trucks were dispatched to the scene to remove both vehicles involved in the collision. The motorcycle and the Chevrolet Cruze were towed to Quality Tow Yard, with the first truck arriving shortly after the accident. The vehicles were successfully removed by 6:01 PM, allowing for the clearing of the roadway.
