A single vehicle accident occurred today on State Route 24 West in Orinda, CA, when a black vehicle hydroplaned and collided with a light pole. The incident took place around 3:22 PM, resulting in significant damage to the vehicle. Fortunately, all individuals involved were able to move to a safe location before emergency services arrived.
Witnesses reported that the vehicle lost control, spun out, and struck the light pole on the right side of the road. The impact caused considerable damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. Emergency services were notified shortly after the collision, and an ambulance was requested to the scene. The status of any injuries remains unknown at this time.
Due to the extent of the damage, a tow truck was called to remove the vehicle from the scene. The vehicle was found wrapped around the light pole, with the front right tire severely impacted. Fortunately, there were no road blockages reported, allowing traffic to continue flowing smoothly in the area.
