The incident took place around 6:27 AM, blocking the #1 lane and causing traffic delays in the area.
Emergency services responded promptly, with California Highway Patrol units arriving on the scene by 6:47 AM. Upon assessment, it was determined that the injuries sustained in the collision were minor. The collision involved two unidentified vehicles alongside the two known vehicles, contributing to the traffic disruption.
Initial reports indicated that the gray Toyota Camry collided with an unknown vehicle, leading to the blockage of the #1 lane. By 6:33 AM, it was confirmed that the vehicles were obstructing the left lanes as well. Towing was requested for the damaged vehicles, with the gray Toyota Camry suffering significant damage.
